jingling fainting flashes of flickering I am your desire your fire your flame smoke clouds the river entangling us rippling at the water's edge I lay on a canvas of liquid paint a lotus captured for all time singing and praising your reflection swallowing wine while the dance of an enchantress Apsara seductress of gods and men opening flowers your eyes I am a nymph a prize dragons fly hovering beside a rock you sink within losing your breath catching woefulness you rest your chest of coin charging nearer to war...for what? Glory, pride, battle size...it matters not apples full and round tumbling to the ground your crown of gold and cold crimes of deceit licking at sweets of my charming ways hips swaying casting a spell ensnaring you into my lair fair winds and following seas sirens blare promiscuous with honors colors allure ashes ending our dance my trance of circumstance and jealousy sending you distancing for a time dueling lusting desiring with red eyes I bring chaos and war admitting no more or Less than is required mischievous whether by seduction or abduction it matters only that I trap you Inside my Labyrinth |
DEAR READER
Welcome to my literature, music, and visual poetry project. My blog represents a method for deciphering the fragments left behind in the Anthropocene. Writers use ashes as a metaphorical device in storytelling. Have you ever wondered about the symbolism of ashes? Archaeological fragments of tablet, papyrus, bone, scroll, and pottery are recognizable the world over. In our digital era, however, our lost folkloric works disintegrate into dust. In this sense, I consume the silver flakes and use my he{art] as a vessel to rise from dystopic wastelands. I share lore through the oral tradition. Ashes to Ashes we continue on ∞ to infinity ∞ We are ash. We are stories. We are star dust. We are eternal.
