Inspired by their participation in the Workshop and anthology, the veteran-poets have been motivated to continue writing and have successfully published their work. Maggs Vibo’s ‘To Our Fallen’, developed at the Workshop, was included in an online visual poetry exhibition entitled ‘Escapisms’, curated by Poem Atlas from 15 May – 5 June 2020. Vibo has had other poems published by Ice Floe Press (15 November 2020) and The Rainbow Poems anthology (Remembrance Edition 2020), and also took part in the 2020 Army @ the ‘Virtual’ Edinburgh Fringe Festival."  #penteractpress #digital DETAILS: After a year where many indie presses struggled, the editors at Penteract Press have announced some upcoming changes. One such plan involves digital publications (beginning 2025) and the other involves publishing leaflets with Wry Leopard. Welcome to my literature, music, and visual poetry project. My blog represents a method for deciphering the fragments left behind in the Anthropocene. Writers use ashes as a metaphorical device in storytelling. Have you ever wondered about the symbolism of ashes? Archaeological fragments of tablet, papyrus, bone, scroll, and pottery are recognizable the world over. In our digital era, however, our lost folkloric works disintegrate into dust. In this sense, I consume the silver flakes and use my he{art] as a vessel to rise from dystopic wastelands. I share lore through the oral tradition. Ashes to Ashes we continue on ∞ to infinity ∞ We are ash. We are stories. We are star dust. We are eternal.
